On Tuesday September 15th at 2:00 pm please join us at the Halifax Historical Society, 252 S. Beach Street, Daytona Beach to hear two of the original members of the Nightcrawlers, Sylvan Wells and Rob Rouse.

Sylvan and Rob will recall their experiences as founding members of the 1960s rock and roll band The Nightcrawlers. The band’s Little Black Egg was massively popular in Florida, and was a top 100 hit nationally. It was the era of garage bands, AM radio, and 45 rpm records; Florida, especially Volusia County, where The Nightcrawlers, Allman brothers, and others began their musical journeys, was a hotbed of rock music. Wells and Rouse share their recollections of the scene.
