The Daytona Beach Police Department will explore the history of the department and the role law enforcement has played in protecting and serving the Daytona Beach community through the years.

We will also focus on how DBPD prepares for and navigates natural disasters, including hurricanes and other severe weather events, and the unique challenges these situations present for law enforcement.

You will gain insight into the department’s evolution, its response to major events and disasters, and the partnerships and resources that help ensure the safety and continuity of our community during times of crisis.
